The Associated Students of the University of California, Davis (ASUCD) passed divestment resolution SR 17, with 10-0-2 vote. This marks the second time the ASUCD voted in favor of divestment. The original resolution, labeled SR 9, was deemed unconstitutional by the UC Davis Campus Court after it passed earlier this year.
The Student Government of Loyola Chicago (SGLC) passed divestment for a third time in two years but this time the SGLC President signed and endorsed the resolution on March 31.
Divestment is a term that has been attracting an immense amount of attention on campuses across the nation and now Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at Marquette University in Wisconsin has joined the movement.

All ticket sales and donations went to Rasmea’s Defense Committee. Odeh is a 67-year-old Palestinian community organizer in the Chicagoland area.
