Help raise funds to help send students to SJP Midwest conference
This Labor day weekend, Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) Midwest will host its 2nd annual conference in Chicago.
The conference will provide the students with the opportunity to get to know one another, organize and share ideas, and build a reliable support system. The ability for these students to network is key to success in the Palestine Solidarity Movement.
The conference is set to begin in a few hours but organizers are still raising funds to help offset costs. SJP Midwest is organized solely by students and needs help from the community to pay for meals and transportation. Those who would like to, can do so at the group’s gofundme page.
SJP Midwest is a network of students from different states in the Midwest region. Created at the National SJP conference in 2013, SJP Midwest aims to connect SJP chapters in the region with one another. SJP Midwest held its first conference in 2014 when it brought over 15 schools together.
