Rashida Tlaib, the first Palestinian-American congresswomen in US history
Rashida Tlaib is a Palestinian you should know. She made history when she was elected as the first Palestinian-American congresswoman in US history.
As a member of congress, Tlaib has kept campaign promises by continuing to fight for the marginalized. Most recently, she voted ‘no’ on house resolution 246—the anti-BDS bill that attacks US citizens right to boycott. The resolution passed on July 23.
