DJ Khaled signs deal with Apple Music

It’s ‘another one’ for DJ Khaled. The Palestinian-American artist and Snapchat phenomenon recently signed a deal with Apple Music, which consists of a weekly We The Best radio show and a bi-weekly TV series.

He announced the news on Instagram Feb. 2. His post read, “JUST SIGNED A DEAL WITH @APPLEMUSIC. WE THE BEST RADIO AND TV DEBUTING THIS FRIDAY AT 8PM EST / 5PM PST !”

Khaled Mohamed Khaled, better known by his stage name as DJ Khaled, was born to Palestinian parents who immigrated to America. He has become hip-hop’s Oprah thanks to his mini-Ted Talks on Snapchat. Khaled is often seen strolling through his Miami mansion in “Bless Up” slippers or speaking truth and dishing out gems from his hammock or tour bus. His rise in music has also been apparent; an album with artist Future debuted on February 5.

Tune in to We The Best Radio, which will stream live on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Friday nights, and We The Best TV, which will stream every other Friday.
